Picton Theatre Group presents “Harvey”

The Picton Theatre Group has been delighting the community for over 40 years, bringing local talent to the stage for all to enjoy. This year, they’re proud to present the classic 1940s Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Harvey by Mary Chase.

"Harvey" tells the whimsical story of Elwood P. Dowd, a charming gentleman, and his best friend is an invisible, six-foot-tall rabbit named Harvey. When Elwood introduces Harvey to the townspeople, his embarrassed sister, Veta Louise, and her daughter, Myrtle Mae, try to have him committed. But in their efforts, Veta realises something important: she loves her brother just as he is, and perhaps we could all use a little more magic and acceptance in our lives.
