NSW Police charge 17-year-old with terrorism-related offence after being alerted to his social…

News out this morning that a 17-year-old boy from The Oaks has been charged with one count of acts in preparation for, or planning, a terrorist act.

He was refused bail and will appear at a Children's Court today.

The NSW Joint Counter Terrorism Team say he doesn't pose a threat to the community. More updates in the news as details emerge.
