The other Sunday night I interviewed 12 year old Jack Ford who attends Campbelltown Performing Arts - and he spoke about goals. Jack lives with cerebral palsy but that doesn't hold him back. Jack's goal is to ride his bicycle to and from school. So over the last school holidays he practiced and set a daily goal of riding further than the day before. On one particular day his goal was to reach the "yellow house" on a big hill. And little by little he is achieving his goal - one house at a time. Needless to say I was pretty impressed and arranged for Jack and his Mum to meet the State Member for Campbelltown, Greg Warren - who certainly made him welcome. We're fortunate to have people like Jack growing up in Campbelltown - and his big goal? - to study palaeontology. Well done Jack - every time I see a yellow house now I will think of my goals. #captainpatc913
