Anti-Poverty Week runs from 11 to 17 October 2026 and is an opportunity to call attention to poverty in Australia and its impacts. This year, participating organisations are calling on the federal government to establish standard measures of poverty and targets to reduce it. Non-profit organisations, businesses, councils and the wider community are being urged to get behind this cause.
