R U OK? Day has become a fundamental part of the yearly calendar. Now more than ever, the way in which our lives has changed means that the 'R U OK' message is more prevelent than ever before. This Thursday, September 10, C91.3 encourages you to lend your ear, or use your voice to express how you're feeling.

 

R U OK? day inspires and empowers everyone to meaningfully connect with the people around them and start a conversation with anyone who may be struggling with life. The importance of learning the signs as to whether someone you know is behaving differently. Maybe they seem withdrawn, more agitated? It's important to know when is an OK time to ask R U OK.. find the steps here.

 

Before you can look out for others, you need to look out for yourself. And that’s ok: The R U OK website has unlimited resources to assist you with your own feelings as well as the correct steps to take to ensure that someone you care about to open up to you whether that be a family member, friend or work colleague.
