A Pregnant woman that attended Liverpool Hospital has contracted COVID19

A pregnant woman has sadly tested positive to Coronavirus, a day after receiving treatment at Liverpool Hospital.

 

Liverpool Hospital is currently undergoing a deep clean and staff and patients who crossed paths with the patient are now isolating. Emergency surgery is continuing while non-urgent surgery has been postponed.

 

In additional breaking news, another case has been acquired at Westmead hospital during routine testing.
