Julie and Megan dropped in to the studio today to chat about 365 days of Phelan Lucky, awareness of Phelan-McDermid syndrome (P-MS).

P-MS is typically caused by deletion, or loss, of the terminal segment of the long arm of chromosome 22. There are currently four children in the Macarthur region diagnosed with P-MS.

The Phelan-McDermid Syndrome Foundation was established by three Macarthur women to support families all over Australia.
