Kids of Macarthur are excited to announce the official launch of the Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation Corporate Wishing Tree Initiative for 2024. This collection initiative will run from Friday, 1st November 2024, through until Tuesday 17th December 2024.
The Wishing Tree Initiative aims to create a brighter Christmas for Macarthur’s sick children who may be spending Christmas (or the lead-up to Christmas) in the hospital. The initiative encourages the community to donate gifts, which will be distributed to these children, helping spread some holiday cheer.
Kids of Macarthur are inviting local businesses across Macarthur to host a Wishing Tree in their workspace. You can encourage your staff, patrons, sponsors, customers, friends, family, and anyone else to donate a new gift under the Wishing Tree or make a monetary donation through the Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation website.
Key Dates: On Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th December 2024, Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation will collect all the Wishing Tree donations. These gifts will be sorted and delivered to the children in the hospital starting from Thursday 19th December, continuing right up until Christmas Day. Excess gifts will be stockpiled and used for Easter, Christmas in July, Book Week, Mother’s Day Father’s Day and other various events and activities that Kids of Macarthur Health Foundation hold throughout 2025 to help with our fundraising efforts in order purchase medical equipment to treat the sick children in our Macarthur region.
The ongoing support of our community at this time of year makes an incredible difference in the lives of so many of Macarthur’s sick children and their families. It’s a chance to bring a smile to their faces during a challenging time.
